IRISH CANADIAN GOLF SOCIETY CONTINUES TO SUPPORT HOSPICE

June 30, 2022

On June 29, 2022, members from the Irish Canadian Golf Society presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a cheque in the amount of $15,000 that was raised at their golf tournament! The Irish Canadian Golf Society and their members/supporters have provided unwavering support to St. Joseph’s Hospice for many years. We are so grateful for their support and dedication to our organization and those we serve. It is because of donations, like this, and the many others, that allow us to provide our services to the Sarnia Lambton community, free of charge!

HUMPHREY FAMILY GARAGE SALE SUPPORTS HOSPICE

June 27, 2022

On June 24, 2022, Karly Watson presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a cheque in the amount of $665 from the Humphrey Family Garage Sale. Their Garage Sale and donation was in memory of Tracey Watson and Florence Kettle. Thank you to the Humphrey Family for your generosity and support of St. Joseph’s Hospice!

LOCAL SARNIA REALTOR CONTINUES TO SUPPORT HOSPICE

Jaime Wyville, a local Real Estate Agent with eXp Canada Platinum Properties, not only wants to give back to her community but has a special connection with Hospice. Because of this, Jaime donates a portion of every commission to St. Joseph’s Hospice.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS #10102 GIVE BACK TO ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPICE

June 15, 2022

On June 14, 2022, Knights of Columbus – St. Michael’s Council #10102 presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a cheque in the amount of $500. The Knights of Columbus raised money from their Jackpot City Sarnia Fundraiser and was able to donate proceeds to St. Joseph’s Hospice. We are so thankful for this support! It is because of the generosity of our community that we can offer our services FREE of charge to all those we serve. SOUTHWEST REGIONAL CREDIT UNION CHARITY BBQ SUPPORTS ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPICE

June 10, 2022

Southwest Regional Credit Union kicked off their Charity BBQ Tour with a Charity BBQ in support of St. Joseph’s Hospice. They presented a cheque in the amount of $1,000 to St. Joseph’s Hospice. While we recognize the financial benefits their support brings, those we serve and their families remain the true beneficiaries of Southwest Regional Credit Union’s generosity.

SEAWAY OF THE KIWANIS CONTINUES TO SUPPORT ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPICE

June 2, 2022

On May 31, 2022, members from the Seaway of the Kiwanis presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a $2,000 cheque for our Caring Hearts Children’s Program. This generous donation will be directed towards our Caring Hearts Children’s Program – Kids Camp being held July 4 to 8, 2022 in the Kiwanis Pavilion at Canatara Park.

The children in our community who use the Caring Hearts Children’s Program will truly benefit from this generous gift. Thank you to the Seaway of the Kiwanis Sarnia for your continued support of St. Joseph’s Hospice and our Caring Hearts Children’s Program!

SARNIA GENERAL NURSES ALUMNAE SUPPORT HOSPICE

On May 25, 2022, members from the Sarnia General Nurses Alumnae presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a $2,000 cheque. With the group disbanding, the remaining members wanted to donate money to Hospice as it is an organization that cares for people in their time of need.

QUILT DONATED BY AL’S VACUUM IN MEMORY OF GREG DOHERTY

May 17, 2022

On May 17, 2022, members from the team at Al’s Vacuum presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a donated quilt in memory of Greg Doherty, who was the owner of Al’s Vacuum. We can’t thank the team at Al’s Vacuum enough for this very generous and thoughtful donation, with such a special tribute to Greg. This beautiful quilt will be part of one of our silent auctions.

LAMBTON COLLEGE NURSING SOCIETY GIVE BACK TO ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPICE

May 16, 2022

Lambton College second-year BScN students donated $1,305.24 to St. Joseph’s Hospice! The Lambton College Nursing Society held various events such as Pastafest, a silent auction and selling spirit-wear and clinical jackets. Members of the nursing society shared that the group has taught them a great amount about leadership and giving back to the community, which is a key aspect in nursing. Thank you to the Lambton College Nursing Society for your generous donation to St. Joseph’s Hospice!
