IRISH CANADIAN GOLF TOURNAMENT CONTINUES TO GIVE BACK TO HOSPICE

July 10, 2024

On July 5, 2024, members from the Irish Canadian Golf Society presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a cheque in the amount of $17,250 that was raised at their Annual Irish Canadian Golf Tournament! The Irish Canadian Golf Tournament and their members have provided unwavering support over the last 11 years, as this tournament has raised $84,920 in support of Hospice. We are so thankful for their partnership, support and dedication to our organization and those we serve.

WYOMING LIONESS LIONS CLUB CONTINUES TO SUPPORT HOSPICE

July 4, 2024

On June 28, 2024, members of the Wyoming Lioness Lions Club presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a $500 donation. We are truly grateful to the Wyoming Lioness Lions Club for their generous gift to our organization, but most importantly, to our residents and clients. Please know that your gift has supported our ability to continue to provide care and compassion to all those we serve and their circle of care in the Sarnia Lambton Community. SARNIA GOLF & CURLING CLUB LADIES SCRAMBLE CONTINUES TO SUPPORT ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPICE

June 19, 2024

Thank you to all of the 53 ladies who participated in this year’s Sarnia Golf & Curling Club Ladies Scramble that took place on Saturday, June 8th! The golf outing raised $4,800 for St. Joseph’s Hospice! The funds raised at this event will be supporting our Kitchen Fund, which allows us to continue to provide delicious home-cooked meals, made with love, for our residents. We are so appreciative of your continued support and generosity to St. Joseph’s Hospice and those we serve!

ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION – CHARITABLE FOUNDATION CONITNUES TO SUPPORT HOSPICE

May 28, 2024

On May 24, 2024, members of the Royal Canadian Legion presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a cheque in the amount of $2,895.70. This donation will be used to purchase 10 *new* arm commodes, one for each suite in the Residence. We are thankful for our generous donors, like the Royal Canadian Legion, who contribute to making St. Joseph’s Hospice the most comfortable experience and place to call home for our residents, who are with us at their end-of-life.

ST. JOSEPH’S CHURCH CWL – CORUNNA GIVES BACK TO HOSPICE IN A UNIQUE WAY

St. Joseph’s Church CWL – Corunna displayed gratitude in action as they donated 290 heartfelt thank you cards to St. Joseph’s Hospice Volunteers. Their kindness knows no bounds, touching hearts and spreading joy to those who deserve it most. Volunteering can often feel like a silent act of kindness, so it means a lot to recognize our hard working volunteer team with generosity from our community. Thank you St. Joseph’s Church CWL – Corunna for your kindness and support!

QUEEN OF PEACE CWL CONTINUES TO SUPPORT ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPICE

On Wednesday, May 8th, members of the Queen of Peace Catholic Women’s League made a $500 donation to St. Joseph’s Hospice in memory of both Donna Longo and Wilma Pretty.

SARNIA ELKS LODGE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT HOSPICE WITH FINAL DONATION

April 29, 2024

On April 24, 2024, members of the Sarnia Elks Lodge presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a cheque in the amount of $18,929. The Sarnia Elks Lodge is disbanding and has been a long-standing supporter of St. Joseph’s Hospice, so we are extremely grateful for their final gift to Hospice. Donations from our community supporters allow us to continue to provide our services to the Sarnia Lambton community, at no cost.
