SARNIA LEGIONNAIRES HOCKEY CLUB CONTINUES TO SUPPORT HOSPICE

January 27, 2023

In November 2022, the Sarnia Legionnaires Hockey Club held their Hospice Night at the Legionnaires Games, where the proceeds from Ticket Sales and their Jersey Silent Auction were donated to St. Joseph’s Hospice. We are pleased to share that this event raised $6,371 for St. Joseph’s Hospice and those we serve. This donation was made in memory of Ken Dwinnell. We are truly grateful for the Sarnia Legionnaires continued support and partnership. We are also extremely grateful to our community for their unwavering support.

THE GENEROUS GIFT OF GIVING

January 23, 2023

Every Friday, Chuck volunteers to deliver groceries to residents in St. Clair Township. For this service, donations are made for the delivery of their groceries. From July 2022 to date, the money raised through these donations has been collected in support of St. Joseph’s Hospice. Together, Chuck and Foodland Corunna were able to donate an amazing $2,280 in Foodland Gift Cards to St. Joseph’s Hospice. We are so thankful for their generosity and support!

LAMBTON METAL SERVICE CONTINUE CONTRIBUTIONS TO HOSPICE

Thank you to Lambton Metal Service for their continued support of St. Joseph’s Hospice. Lambton Metal Service provided St. Joseph’s Hospice with a $5,000 donation in lieu of their annual golf tournament in 2022. We are truly appreciative for their continued support and partnership. ST. JOSEPH CHURCH CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE ANNUAL MEMORIAL ORNAMENT TREE

January 9, 2023

On January 7, members of the St. Joseph Church Catholic Womens League (CWL) and Fr. Jose Montepeque presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a cheque in the amount of $1,000. This money was raised through the St. Joseph CWL annual Memorial Ornament Tree. For a donation of $5, an ornament with the name of your Loved One’s on it was placed on the tree for the Advent Season. 100% of the donations were gifted to St. Joseph’s Hospice this year.

Hosner Family Gives Back During the Holidays

In December, the Hosner Family made a generous donation to St. Joseph’s Hospice in lieu of Christmas gifts this year. Approximately, 3 years ago, Danièl Hosner’s mother, Nancy Husband, was a resident at St. Joseph’s Hospice and were very impressed with their time at our organization. With St. Joseph’s Hospice being so close to their hearts, they wanted to make their donation in memory of her. Thank you for your very generous and thoughtful donation!
