St. Joseph’s Hospice is incredibly grateful to the Clark Family Fund at the Sarnia Community Foundation for their generous $10,000 donation in support of our new three-bed Rural Hospice Residence in Petrolia.
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Todd Clark to our future Rural Hospice Residence, where he had an opportunity to see the space and learn more about our plans to bring compassionate hospice palliative care closer to individuals and families living throughout rural Lambton County.
Scheduled to open in Spring 2027, the new residence will provide three hospice beds in a warm, welcoming and home-like environment. The space will include private resident rooms, a family room, nursing station, kitchenette, spa bathing area and outdoor patio access, all designed with the comfort, dignity and needs of residents and their families in mind.
While government funding supports a portion of this important expansion, St. Joseph’s Hospice relies on the generosity of our community to help fund the furnishings, equipment and many of the essential elements needed to create the compassionate environment families have come to know at Hospice.
Gifts such as this are helping turn our vision for rural hospice care into a reality.
Our heartfelt thanks to Todd Clark and the Clark Family for believing in this project and investing in compassionate end-of-life care for our rural communities.
Every gift brings us one step closer to opening our doors and welcoming the first residents and families into their new Rural Hospice Residence.
Thank you for helping us bring Hospice care closer to home.
