St. Joseph’s Hospice is committed to providing accessible services, programs, and information to all individuals, including people with disabilities, in a manner that respects dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity.
We are dedicated to meeting the accessibility needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner and complying with the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), its associated regulations, and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Accessible Website and Digital Content
St. Joseph’s Hospice has renewed its website to improve accessibility and usability for all users. Our website has been designed to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA, in accordance with Ontario’s Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.

Communication Supports and Alternate Formats
Upon request, St. Joseph’s Hospice will provide or arrange for accessible formats and communication supports in a timely manner and at no additional cost. We will consult with the individual making the request to determine the most appropriate format or support.
Service Animals
We welcome service animals as defined under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code. Individuals with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal are permitted to access all areas of our premises open to the public, unless prohibited by law.
Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our services, programs, and website. Feedback can be provided in person, by telephone, by email, or in writing. All feedback will be reviewed and addressed in a timely manner.
