Home Away From Home

Sharing Love, Creating Comfort: Your Support Matters.

My Dad, Ken, was sent to St. Joseph's Hospice on Saturday, January 15, 2021. The moment he got there, the nurses and PSW’s treated him with such kindness. Rachael and Sisto went above and beyond to get him anything he needed. Spoiling him with ice cream, bringing us tea and coffee, their humour alone made us smile and relax. I can not express enough how much we appreciated Sisto with each passing day. My Dad said, this is a home away from home and he was so thankful to be there. Sadly, Dad passed away on January 19. We had hoped for more time as I’m sure all do. But we find comfort in knowing he was well taken care of until the end. Thank you, Sisto, Rachael, Jim and all the volunteers for treating Dad with kindness, love and respect. We will never forget that.

Sincerely,

Daeton MacRury
