SARNIA GENERAL NURSES ALUMNAE SUPPORT HOSPICE

On May 25, 2022, members from the Sarnia General Nurses Alumnae presented St. Joseph’s Hospice with a $2,000 cheque. With the group disbanding, the remaining members wanted to donate money to Hospice as it is an organization that cares for people in their time of need. The Sarnia General Nurses Alumnae, that was started over a century ago, is a group of nurses who graduated from the Sarnia General School of Nursing, where some would live in residence, learn the nursing profession, and eventually work in all areas of the hospital; the camaraderie of shared experiences provided strong memories for graduates.* Thank you to the Sarnia General Nurses Alumnae, and to Anne and Kay, for this very generous donation.
